IS claims responsibility for attack on Russian Guards in Chechnya
The Daesh terrorist group has claimed responsibility for a deadly attack on a Russian National Guard base in Chechnya.
Censor.NET reports referring to a message by SITE Intelligence Group involved in monitoring jihadist communications.On the night of March 24, a Russian Guard base was attacked near Naursky district in northwestern Chechnya. A group of armed militants, taking advantage of fog, tried to penetrate the territory of the military base, but were spotted by the military and engaged in combat. Six National Guard servicemen and six gunmen were killed. Three servicemen were wounded.
