Stoltenberg excludes participation of NATO in Syrian conflict

The question of the participation of NATO soldiers in the Syrian conflict is not considered.

The Secretary General of the Alliance Jens Stoltenberg said in an interview with Spiegel, Censor.NET reports.

"The participation of NATO soldiers in the civil war in Syria, no one expects, it is not discussed", he said.

Stoltenberg stressed that training local troops in Iraq and Afghanistan is the best weapon to combat terror.
