In Khmelnytskyi region, law enforcement officers neutralised a corruption scheme involving an official of the territorial centre for recruitment and social support and a dentist of a private clinic. Both suspects were served a notice of suspicion.
This was reported by the Department of Strategic Investigations of the National Police of Ukraine in Khmelnytskyi region, Censor.NET reports.
As noted, the doctor was looking for clients. And the TCC official, in turn, influenced the authorised persons who make decisions on a person's unfitness for military service.
"They took $10,000 in bribes for their corrupt services. Currently, an official of the territorial centre for recruitment and social support and a dentist at a private clinic have been served with a notice of suspicion under Part 3 of Article 15, Part 2 of Article 28, Part 3 of Article 369-2 (attempted abuse of influence committed by an organised group) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine," the statement said.
Pre-trial restraints in the form of custody with the right to be released on bail were imposed on the suspects.
