The Ukrainian Armed Forces’ ground troops on reserve duty will undergo training at a military base in the Kharkiv region in January 2018.
Censor.NET reports citing the statement by the ground troops’ press service on social media.
The soldiers doing reserve duty will be provided with necessary clothing, food, and amenities. The reference and information center will be also available for them.
More than 700 persons on reserve duty including almost 30 officers will take part in the training exercise.
"The reserve duty training is conducted in order to check the readiness of military units in case of need to man their fighting element with those on reserve duty and refresh their practical skills and military specialties in drills. The training should help the soldiers on reserve duty refresh their skills gained during military service and acquire the new ones," the statement reads.
