Adviser of the Kherson mayor, Kateryna Handziuk, whom an unknown individual doused with sulfuric acid outside her house on July 31, is being urgently transported by an air ambulance to Ukraine’s capital city, Kyiv.

"Kateryna Handziuk is being urgently taken to Kyiv by an air ambulance," activist Roman Sinitsyn wrote on social media, Censor.NET reports.

As reported, Kherson City Council executive officer, Kateryna Handziuk, who tried to deal with local separatists and harshly criticized the authorities, namely the law enforcement officials, was doused with acid in Kherson early on July 31.
