Ukraine's prosecutor-general Yurii Lutsenko says two people have been arrested for trying to bribe Yurii Tymoshenko into dropping him run for president.
Censor.NET reports, Yurii Lutsenko said in a post on Facebook on Wednesday that the suspects proposed paying Tymoshenko UAH 5 mln ($188 thousand) to drop out of contention for the March 31 vote.
The post said the investigation that led to the arrests started after Tymoshenko reported the bribe attempt.
