Additional lines of defense and fortifications are being built in the Zhytomyr region.

This was reported by the head of the Zhytomyr RMA, Vitalii Bunechko, Censor.NET informs.

"The border with Belarus in the Zhytomyr region is being sewn up with trenches and filled with concrete.
This is a summary of the joint inspection and interdepartmental meeting held with the deputy commander of the "Volyn" Military Police, Brigadier General Vasyl Zubanych in the north of the region," the report said.

The head of the RMA noted that together with the leaders of the military command, regional administration, border guards, law enforcement agencies, and communities bordering the border, they gathered in Olevsk and analyzed the progress of building a deeply echeloned defense system on the border with Belarus.
