A car carrying civilians hit a mine in Mykolaiv region. PHOTOS

On 29 May, a car hit a mine in Mykolaiv region. This incident occurred on shores of Dnipro Estuary, between settlements of Lupareve and Lymany.

This was announced by the head of the regional police Serhiy Shayhet, Censor.NET reports.

"Two men, aged 47 and 61, drove a Mitsubishi Pajero Sport to collect sand for construction work and hit an anti-personnel mine," the statement said.

The men sustained injuries of varying severity.
