President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the Prime Minister of Great Britain at the summit of the European Political Community.

"The head of the Ukrainian state noted that this is already the third meeting of the leaders in the last month. He thanked the United Kingdom for its powerful support to Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression," the message reads.
"I am grateful to Great Britain and personally to Mr. Prime Minister for the help provided to Ukraine. For the leadership in creating a tank and aviation coalition, in particular, in the readiness to start training Ukrainian pilots," Zelensky emphasized.
Zelensky also praised the recent transfer of long-range Storm Shadow missiles to Ukraine.
"This is exactly the weapon we need today. It helps us win," he emphasized.
Zelensky also talked about the new Russian shelling of peaceful Ukrainian cities and stated that to protect civilians, it is necessary to create an "air shield over Ukrainian cities."
"At the meeting, the issue of Ukraine's expectations from the Vilnius NATO summit was also raised. The head of state emphasized that it is important for our country to receive a clear signal about the prospects of membership in the Alliance, which will be another motivational factor for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the entire Ukrainian people," said in the message.
It is noted that the interlocutors paid special attention to the implementation of the Ukrainian peace formula and the organization of the Global Peace Summit, the need to further increase pressure on the aggressor state, and preparations for the London International Conference on the Reconstruction of Ukraine.
It will be reminded that Zelensky is in Moldova, where he is participating in the summit of the European Political Community.
