According to Lukashuk, today, on 8 June, Russians fired five times at Nikopol district.

"A 30-year-old man was injured as a result of artillery shelling in Nikopol. He was hospitalised with a diagnosis of mine-blast trauma and acubar trauma. He received the necessary medical assistance and is being treated on an outpatient basis," the statement said.

The shelling also damaged a department store, an administrative building, a hotel, 4 five-storey residential buildings, 2 cars, and 1 power line.

The Marhanets community was also shelled. Rescuers are inspecting the area.
