Reuters publishes the first independent confirmation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ advance.

According to Censor.NET, this was reported by Radio Liberty.

Reuters journalists visited the liberated village of Storozheve. They write that the road to it is "littered with the corpses of Russian soldiers and burnt armoured vehicles".

According to the Ukrainian military, about 50 Russian servicemen were killed and four were taken prisoner during the "cleansing". In the village itself, houses damaged by shelling can be seen.

Over the past week, the Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated seven settlements in the Donetsk and Tavria operational areas.
