Blogger who was "right hand" of traitor Stremousov was detained in Odesa, - SSU. VIDEO

SBU cyber specialists and investigators detained in Odesa a hostile propagandist who had been working for collaborator Stremousov for a long time, justifying Russia’s armed aggression and calling for the seizure of state power in Ukraine.

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press centre of the Security Service of Ukraine.

As noted, the defendant is a pro-Russian blogger from Mykolaiv region who has long worked for the collaborator Stremousov and was in fact his "right hand".

Before Russia's full-scale invasion, they jointly organised paid mass actions aimed at undermining the internal political situation in the region in favour of the aggressor country.

"During the seizure of parts of Mykolaiv region and Kherson, Stremousov became part of the local occupation administration of the Russian Federation, and his accomplice remained in the territory controlled by Ukraine.

To spread destructive content, he used his own pages and channels on Youtube, Facebook and Instagram, as well as on the banned social network Vkontakte with a total audience of over 100,000 users.

On these Internet resources, he denied the existence of Ukrainian statehood and the Ukrainian people.

He also discredited Ukrainian defenders and called on citizens to evade conscription into the Defence Forces," the statement said.

The SBU notes that his stories and publications were later picked up by the Kremlin's central mouthpieces and disseminated under the guise of the "position" of ordinary Ukrainian citizens.

For conspiracy purposes, the offender constantly changed his phone numbers and used the fictitious nickname "man".

During the searches at his places of residence in Odesa and Yuzhnoukrainsk, Mykolaiv region, a laptop and 5 mobile phones with evidence of subversive activity were found. Also, the "job description" of Stremousov's news agency, where he previously worked, was seized.

Based on the evidence collected, SBU investigators served the detainee with a notice of suspicion under three articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: Article 109 (actions aimed at the violent change or overthrow of the constitutional order or the seizure of state power); Article 436-1 (production and dissemination of communist and Nazi symbols and propaganda of communist and national socialist (Nazi) totalitarian regimes). 436-1 (production, dissemination of communist and Nazi symbols and propaganda of communist and national socialist (Nazi) totalitarian regimes); Article 436-2 (justification, recognition as lawful, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants).

The detainee was chosen a measure of restraint in the form of detention. The investigation is ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the crime. The offender faces up to 10 years in prison.
