Ukrainian defenders disassembled the engine from a Russian "Lancet" UAV and saw the markings of the Czech company Model Motors. The company says it does not supply products to Russia.

This was reported on Twitter by a user with the nickname "Your friend Stus", Censor.NET reports.

"After a short search, it became clear that it was a Russian Lancet engine. After removing a layer of reinforced tape, we saw the markings of the manufacturer of this engine. It turned out to be the Czech company Model Motors," he wrote.

The Ukrainian defense lawyer noted that Russian Lancets cause a lot of problems for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, destroying people and equipment. "Without this component, the Lancet would simply not fly, which means that this company bears a lot of blame for our killed people," he wrote.

A user from the Czech Republic with the nickname Vozím drony na Ukrajinu replied that he had contacted a Czech motor manufacturer. He said that they do not supply their products to the Russian Federation as a matter of principle and that they have not produced this type of motor for over a year. Now, according to him, the manufacturer is working with the Czech authorities to find out how the engines got to Russia.

He also published a response from Model Motors.
