Ukraine and Romania signed a bilateral declaration on strategic partnership. The document includes political, economic, social and security issues between the two countries.
This was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Censor.NET reports.
"On October 10, we held meaningful and fruitful talks with the President of Romania. I would like to emphasize the agreement on our strategic partnership between Ukraine and Romania. We are ready to build exactly this level of relationship.
We have signed a bilateral declaration that sets out the key points of our cooperation: security cooperation, in particular in the Black Sea region, support for our Formula for Peace, expansion of economic and logistics cooperation, transport links, simplification of border crossing procedures, opening of new border crossing points," he said.
Romanian President Klaus Iohannis emphasized that his country considers relations with Ukraine in the long term and confirmed its commitment to support Ukraine in the war with Russia "as much as necessary."
