The wreckage of a Russian X-101 missile was found in a field in the Saratov region of the Russian Federation. Its fragments fell in the city of Krasnoarmeysk.

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the Russian media outlet ASTRA.

According to sources, the warhead of the strategic missile detonated in midair during the launch, and the debris fell on the territory of Krasnoarmiysk.

As noted, one of the fragments fell 400 metres from the residential building No. 19 on the street of the 5th microdistrict of the city. There were no casualties.

At the same time, local Russian media say that it is allegedly a fragment of a downed Ukrainian drone. Local authorities have not officially commented on the situation.
