In Zakarpattia, border guards detained four men with a 14-year-old guide. The teenager was supposed to help the men cross the Tisza River.

This was reported by the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service, Censor.NET reports.

According to the border guards, the men paid between $4,000 and $6,000 for crossing the river. The teenager was supposed to receive a thousand dollars.

The detainees were residents of Kyiv, Zakarpattia, Dnipropetrovsk and Lviv regions.

Currently, border guards are identifying the people involved in the organisation of this illegal crossing.
