Zelenskyy inspects reconstruction of damaged housing in Derhachi, Kharkiv region. PHOTOS
As part of his working visit to the Kharkiv region, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the city of Derhachi, inspected the restored apartment buildings and spoke with residents.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press centre of the Prosecutor General's Office.
As noted, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported to the President that last year 18 houses with 250 apartments were restored and people were provided with shelters that had not been available before. In particular, they installed utilities, restored the facade, and arranged common areas.
Work is also underway to rebuild the local outpatient clinic, which is scheduled to be completed this October.
"In addition, Oleh Syniehubov spoke about the project to build underground blocks of the regional hospital, where they intend to equip operating rooms. According to him, a total of 70 projects are currently being implemented in the Kharkiv region to rebuild housing and hospitals. They are part of the Regional Programme for the Restoration, Development and Support of Life Support Systems in Kharkiv Region for the Period of Martial Law in Ukraine. These projects are funded by the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression," the statement said.
Earlier, Censor.NET reported that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the forward command post of the Special Operations Forces in the Kharkiv direction.
