Major bomb attack averted in Odesa. PHOTOS

An explosive device was found tied to a tree at Fontanska Road in Odesa.

It is announced by the regional police department press service, Censor.NET reports.

"In the morning, the police was notified of a string drawn between two trees on either side of the road complete with two cylindrical objects with rings, looking like a bomb," the statement reads.

As reported, the area was examined by counter-explosive specialists. As a result, law enforcers found and seized two homemade explosive cylindrical objects.

Police officers are taking measures to identify and detain the person who committed the above criminal offense which is to be entered in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations.
