St Nicholas Cathedral damaged in Kyiv. VIDEO&PHOTOS
A Russian missile strike on Kyiv on Friday, 20 December, damaged facade stained glass window on the St Nicholas Church, an architectural monument of national importance in Ukraine.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported on Facebook by the Ukrainian International Institute of Restoration.
"The blast wave damaged the facade stained glass window on the Church of St Nicholas, an architectural monument of national importance (security number 260108/1). The blast wave also damaged the windows of the administrative building of the National House of Music, which is located next to the church," the statement said.
The church was built in 1899-1909 in the Neo-Gothic style and is an architectural monument of national importance.
As a reminder, on the morning of 20 December, Russian invaders launched a combined missile attack on Kyiv. Previously, the enemy used "Kinzhal" aeroballistic missiles from MiG-31K and Iskander/KN-23 ballistic missiles. A total of 8 missiles were fired.
