The organisers said that the prime minister's meeting with Putin on Sunday was increasing Russian influence and using the gas transit issue to promote cooperation with Russia. "Traitor," the crowd shouted at Fico.

It is noted that the protest was attended by former Prime Ministers Igor Matovic and Eduard Heger, opposition leaders, as well as artists and Ukrainian refugees.

According to representatives of the NGO 'Peace to Ukraine', Fico could have violated the law with his trip, as he is collaborating with the aggressor. Today, they plan to file a complaint with the General Prosecutor's Office of Slovakia.

After the protest ended, the crowd chanted "Enough with Fico" and "Glory to Ukraine".
