Occupiers hit central market in Nikopol with kamikaze drones, eight injured (updated). PHOTOS
On the morning of 26 December, Russian troops attacked the central market of Nikopol. Six people were injured - four men and two women.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the mayor of Nikopol, Oleksandr Saiuk.
"The enemy has been shelling the city with artillery and kamikaze drones since this morning. Six people were injured as a result of the drone attack. All the victims were hospitalised. The women aged 39, 63 and 64 are in serious condition, the others are in moderate condition. Doctors are providing all necessary assistance to the victims," the statement said.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the commercial premises were heavily damaged.
As of 12:00, the number of victims had increased to 8. According to the State Emergency Service, 7 of them were hospitalised.
"One woman is in critical condition, and 3 other people are in serious condition," the statement said.
