On 2 January, a yellow and blue stela was destroyed at the entrance to Pokrovsk, Donetsk region.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by a soldier of the 68th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Pavel Vyshebaba.
"We were on our way to work and saw that the letter ‘P’ had been thrown to the road, so I stopped and put it in the trunk. I think it should become an artefact in the future museum of the Russian-Ukrainian war," he said in the post.
The soldier noted that such fragments of history, in his opinion, belonged to the Ukrainian nation and should not be put up for auction. The price was too high for the city to remain on the map exactly like these letters: yellow and blue.
