Today, 5 January, Russian troops shelled Pokrovsk and Nadiivka in Donetsk region, causing casualties.

This was announced by the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Vadym Filashkin, Censor.NET reports.

As noted, in Pokrovsk, Russians wounded three people and damaged a shop and an administrative building.

Two more people were injured in Nadiivka, and two houses were damaged there.

"Anyone who still stays in the Donetsk region is putting themselves in mortal danger! Be responsible! Evacuate!" - urged the head of the RMA.
