In Vinnytsia region, law enforcement officers detained an employee of one of the district TCRs who had set up a scheme to evade mobilisation.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the SSU press service.
The SSU jointly with the National Police and the Land Armed Forces of Ukraine exposed a man who, for a significant sum of money - USD 16 thousand - promised conscripts to enter false data into electronic databases to obtain a "deferral" from mobilisation.
As noted, the offender found clients through personal connections and helped them avoid mobilisation to the territory where active hostilities were taking place. The operatives detained him red-handed when he was receiving another part of the bribe. During the searches of the suspect's apartment and car, the operatives found mobile phones containing evidence of his illegal activities and money obtained through criminal means.
The employee of the TCR was served a notice of suspicion under Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (bribery). A custody was chosen as a measure of restraint against him, and investigative measures are ongoing to identify other persons involved in this criminal scheme. It is noted that such a crime seriously harms the state interests and military security of Ukraine in times of war.
