As investigators found out, the woman was a former employee of the disbanded police force. She kept in touch with an old acquaintance, an ex-military officer who in 2014 joined the side of the DPR terrorists and is now the commander of one of the Russian Federation's reconnaissance and assault brigades.

On his instructions, the agent:

  • She collected data on the fortifications and firing positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kramatorsk district.
  • She recorded the routes of fuel tankers to the frontline.
  • It transmitted information about the location of rocket artillery and other strategic objects.

To gather intelligence, the woman drove her own car and secretly filmed military facilities.

SSU CI officers timely exposed her activities, established her location and detained her. She was served a notice of suspicion under Part 2 Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason under martial law).

The case file was sent to court. The offender is in custody. If proven guilty, she faces up to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.

The operation was carried out by the SSU Main Directorate in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural supervision of the Donetsk Region Prosecutor's Office.
