As part of the Bring Kids Back UA initiative, a 17-year-old boy who was persecuted for helping the Ukrainian armed forces and two young brothers separated from their mother were evacuated from the temporarily occupied territories.

This was stated by the head of the President's Office, Andrii Yermak, Censor.NET reports.

As noted, the 17-year-old boy, who was persecuted, interrogated and threatened numerous times because of his pro-Ukrainian position, is now safe. He is receiving the necessary psychological support and is preparing to study at a Ukrainian educational institution.

Another challenging mission was to reunite a young mother with her two young sons. Because of the war, the woman was forced to go abroad and for a long time could not take her children from the occupied territory on her own. Now the family is reunited and the children are safe.

"I sincerely thank the team of the Office, the Ombudsman's Office, volunteers and international partners who made this return possible. We are fulfilling the President's task - to return all the children!" he said in a statement.

Earlier it was reported that in 2024, 449 Ukrainian children who had been forcibly deported or detained in the temporarily occupied territories returned to their families thanks to the Bring Kids Back UA initiative.
