In Kyiv, police detained a man who may have been involved in a shooting at a service station.

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the Facebook page of the Patrol Police of Ukraine.

"The police received a report about an aggressive man in the Darnytskyi district who threatened the automobile repair shop employees with physical violence and, according to the applicant, fired a gun. The inspectors quickly arrived at the scene and found out that the alleged attacker had fled the scene in a Volkswagen. So we found out what the offender looked like and started searching for him," the statement said.

The patrol policemen inspected the surrounding area and found the fugitive's car and the offender in one of the premises. The inspectors detained the citizen and handed him over to investigators.

A weapon was found in the suspect's car. Investigators sent the seized weapon for examination.
