In Kupiansk, Kharkiv region, Russian airstrikes caused destruction and fires, and enemy shelling continues, making it impossible to carry out damage control work.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, Censor.NET reports.
As noted, this afternoon, enemy aircraft conducted massive attacks with guided aerial bombs on the residential sector of Kupiansk. The shelling resulted in the destruction and damage of residential and commercial buildings. A fire broke out on the territory of one of the private households. A residential building, an outbuilding, and a car on a total area of 300 square metres were on fire.
"A woman born in 1938 was injured at the scene. The rescuers and medics of the State Emergency Service who arrived at the scene provided first aid to the injured woman and handed her over to an emergency medical team," the SES said.
It is also noted that work to extinguish the fire and clear the rubble has been temporarily suspended due to constant hostile shelling.
