"Today we discussed the recovery plan for Ukraine's maritime infrastructure. In our maritime recovery plan, we are not only focused on supporting the Navy, we are focused on attracting investment to develop and rebuild port infrastructure," Svet said.

Svet emphasised that Estonia is allocating 0.25% of its GDP to support Ukraine, and the recovery plan aims to help Ukraine not only in the war, but also in preparing for a large-scale recovery after it ends.

"We stand by Ukraine and are its friends in countering Russian aggression, as well as in supporting Ukraine's infrastructure and economy," Svet said.

Kuleba also noted that the signing of the memorandum is an important signal to international partners, calling on them to join this initiative.

"The signing of the memorandum is a signal to our partners to join this initiative. We will talk about setting up a working group to work out the details of this mechanism. Our task is to develop a document that will help us recover and coordinate with international partners to prevent any threats in this direction," Kuleba said.
