U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent is to visit Ukraine to meet with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

"This war must end soon - there is too much death and destruction. The United States has spent billions of dollars around the world, and there are few results. When America is strong, peace reigns in the world," Trump commented on Bessent's trip.
Earlier it was reported that Bessent is planning an official visit to Kyiv this week as part of initial talks to secure US access to Ukraine's rare earth metals.
