Top managers of Odesa company sold equipment worth $1 million for Russian military bases: SSU detains. PHOTOS

The SSU eliminated a scheme to supply high-tech electrical equipment to Russian military facilities.

In Odesa, 7 people were detained, including the company's founder and top managers.

As noted, during 2023, the offenders supplied several batches of products totalling more than USD 1 million. For these deliveries, controlled companies outside Ukraine, in particular in the Middle East, were used to transport the goods to Russia.

The equipment was intended to supply power to Russian military bases, including sanctioned companies. During the searches, the law enforcement seized documents, mobile phones and computers used to carry out illegal activities.

The suspects are charged under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: aiding the aggressor state (Article 111-2, part 1) and creating and leading a criminal organisation (Article 255, parts 1 and 2). The offenders face up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.
