On the night of Tuesday, 18 February 2025, Russian troops massively attacked the Cherkasy region with attack drones. The alert in the region lasted for almost six hours.
This was reported by the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration Ihor Taburets in his telegram channel, Censor.NET informs.
"Air defence forces were working in the region. A total of 26 Russian UAVs were destroyed within our territory. There were no injuries. This is the most important thing," he stressed.
Consequences of an enemy attack
However, according to the RMA, the downed "Shahed" caused damage in Cherkasy district. According to preliminary data, the debris damaged four houses and a garage. Windows were smashed out and roofs were damaged in some places. A car was also damaged.
The survey of the territory is ongoing.
Earlier, Censor.NET reported that at night a drone hit a high-rise building in Dolynska, Kirovohrad region, injuring a woman and two children.
