Sculptor Taras Shevchenko died in battle for Ukraine. PHOTO

On 9 March, Taras Shevchenko, a 25-year-old sculptor from Odesa region, an employee of the Tuzly Estuaries National Park, was killed in the war.

According to Censor.NET, this was reported by Ivan Rusiev, an employee of the Tuzly Estuaries National Park.

"A young, incredibly bright man, an outstanding sculptor of Ukrainian Bessarabia, has passed away. He was killed by the war, to which he immediately went to defend the country with his father Oleksandr when the ruscist invasion of our country invaded," the post reads.

Taras Shevchenko collaborated with the Tuzly Estuaries National Park and made sculptures of a large pelican, a Scythian woman and a groundhog that greeted visitors to the Tuzly Amazon.
