A lawyer was exposed in Mykolaiv region for offering a $5000 bribe to a border guard for illegally smuggling a man of military age abroad.

What kind of scheme did the criminal organize?

In the Mykolaiv region, operatives of the SBGS Internal and Own Security Department, together with the SSU, exposed a lawyer who had planned to illegally smuggle a man of conscription age abroad.

To facilitate the "client’s" departure, she offered a $5,000 bribe to a border guard. However, the serviceman reported the attempt to his superiors. The woman was detained while handing over the so-called advance payment.

She has now been served with a notice of suspicion.
