Brink responded to shelling of Sumy: As in Kryvyi Rih, Russia fired cluster missiles

US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink reacts to the Russian missile attack on Sumy on 13 April.

She wrote about this in the social network X, Censor.NET reports.

"Today, on Palm Sunday, Russia launched a ballistic missile attack on Sumy, killing 32 Ukrainian civilians and injuring 99 others. As in Kryvyi Rih, cluster munitions were reportedly used, which only exacerbated the scale of the destruction and harm to civilians. Our prayers are with the people of Sumy," she wrote.

As a reminder, as a result of a missile attack on the centre of Sumy on 13 April 2025, 34 people were killed and 115 injured.
