Ukrainian developers Brave1 have tested small FPV bombers at the training ground, which are cheap, resistant to EW and multifunctional.
This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, Censor.NET reports.
As noted, the developers checked how the UAVs operate in conditions as close to combat as possible. They tested their resistance to electronic warfare, checked their carrying capacity, flight range and ease of use.
Thus, 14 drones covered a distance of 10 km under the influence of electronic warfare, dropped ammunition on the target and returned.
Fedorov emphasized that small bombers are critically important for the front line. They are capable of carrying up to 3 kg of explosives and can be reused multiple times. Their main advantage over the Chinese competitor, the Mavic, is cost — Ukrainian mini-drones are significantly cheaper.
"Testing grounds are a great opportunity for manufacturers to try out their developments, exchange experience with colleagues, and fix any issues before sending the equipment to the front. At Brave1, we offer the chance to test any military innovation," Fedorov added.
