In Kryvyi Rih, police are investigating the circumstances of a grenade explosion in one of the flats of an apartment building.
This was reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Dnipropetrovsk region, according to Censor.NET.
Explosion in an apartment
On 6 November, at around 6:30 p.m., an explosion occurred in the Metallurgical District of Kryvyi Rih, killing a man.
According to preliminary data, the deceased detonated a combat grenade. The explosion occurred in one of the flats of a multi-apartment residential building. Other flats were not damaged.
Proceedings have been initiated on the grounds of suicide
An investigative team from Police Station No. 2 of the Kryvyi Rih District Police Department, bomb disposal experts and specialists from the forensic laboratory immediately arrived at the scene. Law enforcement officers seized material evidence, which was sent for expert examination.
Currently, all the circumstances of the incident are being established within the framework of an open criminal investigation initiated on the grounds of suicide.
