On September 5, National Guard serviceman Anton Bondarenko, callsign "Banderas" — Commander of the 1st Squad, 1st Rapid Response Platoon, acting Senior Sergeant of the 10th Company, 4th Battalion of the 13th Rapid Response Brigade "Khartiia", went missing in action while performing a combat mission in the Kharkiv direction, defending Ukraine’s independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
A recent DNA test has confirmed that Anton was killed in action.
This was reported by Bohdana Sakhno, according to Censor.NET.
"Anton was never afraid of death — he was afraid of living without dignity. But Anton himself embodied both dignity and life. For him, ‘love’ and ‘duty’ were verbs. Active in everything, genuine in everything, brave and sincere in every deed. An intellectual with the heart of a warrior. A young man with the most radiant, radiant smile," the post reads.
The time and date of the farewell ceremony will be announced later.
