Strikes on energy facilities in Poltava region: one person injured (updated). PHOTOS

Last night, the enemy launched a massive attack on energy infrastructure facilities in the Poltava region.

According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the head of the Regional Military Administration, Volodymyr Kohut.

One person was injured in the attack and is receiving the necessary medical care.

Due to the attack, special emergency power cut schedules have been introduced in the region.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, Russian strikes last night caused large-scale fires in several locations in the region.

The fires occurred in separate areas of enterprises. Most of the fires have already been extinguished.

Due to the threat of repeated enemy shelling, more than 160 rescuers, special equipment, tactical robots, pyrotechnic, and medical units of the State Emergency Service were involved in the area.

Work to eliminate the consequences of the Russian attacks is ongoing.

Consequences for Kremenchuk:

  • There is no electricity, water, and partial heating. Water delivery for the population will be organised in the near future.

  • Electric transport is not working; additional buses have been put on the routes.

  • Resilience centres are being set up. An operational coordination headquarters is in operation.

  • All services are working to eliminate the consequences of the attack and restore energy, water, and heat supplies.
