Recovery continues after Russian strikes in Kharkiv region; Food Train launched in Poltava region for communities without power. PHOTOS

Following Russian strikes, repair crews continue restoration work in the Kharkiv and Poltava regions. Electricity, water, and heat supply are gradually being restored in the regions, and infrastructure stabilisation is ongoing.

This was reported by Censor.NET, with reference to a post by Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine – Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Oleksii Kuleba.

Kharkiv region

  • Energy and utility services are working around the clock to stabilise life support systems. The scale of the destruction is significant, and it will take time to get the equipment up and running.
  • Currently, about 100,000 subscribers remain without electricity, water, and heat supply.

Ukrzaliznytsia continues to operate. Despite power outages and voltage fluctuations, rail service to Kharkiv and Poltava regions is maintained.

Food Train launched

A Food Train has been launched on routes in Poltava region - a special train that provides hot meals to residents of communities that remain without power as a result of Russian attacks. In two days, Food Train chefs plan to serve more than 2,000 meals.

"We thank all the relevant services that are working around the clock to restore heat and light," Kuleba wrote.
