Russian Federation cannot increase its forces, and Armed Forces of Ukraine are eliminating up to thousand occupiers every day, - Syrskyi. PHOTOS

During a meeting to review the activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the previous month, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi reported that the operational situation remains difficult. The enemy is conducting offensive operations along virtually the entire line of contact.

He reported this on social media, according to Censor.NET.

What is the situation

On some days, the number of combat engagements reaches 300, the highest since the start of the war. However, the Ukrainian army is holding back the pressure, disrupting the Kremlin's plans, not abandoning its active defence tactics and applying them effectively.

The Russian group has long numbered around 710,000 people. At the same time, the enemy is unable to increase this number, despite active recruitment in the Russian Federation, because our soldiers are killing and wounding a thousand occupiers every day.

Yes, at the cost of huge losses, the enemy was able to take control of some of our territories in November. However, Russian propaganda statements about the pace of the Russian troops' advance do not correspond to reality.

Return of territories

Moreover, in some important areas, we are conducting our own active operations and clearing settlements of the enemy.

In particular, our active operations continue in the Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad agglomeration. In Pokrovsk itself, over the past few weeks, we have been able to regain control of about 16 square kilometres in the northern part of the city. Logistics in Myrnohrad are difficult, but continue.

At the same time, no territory has been lost in the Kupiansk, Kostiantynivka, and Prydniprovsk operational areas.

"Once again, I express my deep gratitude to the Ukrainian soldiers, sergeants, and officers who are holding their ground with dignity. They are the best guarantee of our independence and the strongest argument in negotiations to achieve a just peace," Syrskyi said.

We continue to destroy the enemy, exhausting its army and economy," the Commander-in-Chief emphasised.

DeepStrike

Over the past month, DeepStrike has carried out 81 fire missions and hit 98 enemy targets on Russian territory. We are continuing our work, in particular striking the enemy's oil refining industry, which is the main source of funding for the war.

In November, our artillery hit more than 4,100 enemy targets, and our missile forces hit more than a hundred.

Despite the shortage of missiles, we are maintaining the effectiveness of our air defence.

The work of electronic warfare systems

We are increasing the work of electronic warfare systems for radio-electronic cover. Thus, electronic warfare means suppressed 94,000 air attack weapons in a month, including 2,200 "shahids" and 7,000 "molny".

"Special thanks go to the servicemen of our logistics units. The technical readiness indicators of combat equipment have increased in all corps. In conditions where the volume of international assistance with equipment is decreasing, the repair of existing equipment is an extremely important source of reinforcement for combat units," Syrskyi added.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have completely transitioned to a corps system

"Despite the high intensity of combat operations, we are continuing to improve the command and control system. An important step has been taken – we have completely transitioned to a corps system. Army corps and their commanders have already gained experience and are conducting specific operations. Now we are bringing corps kits into line with the actual composition of the Armed Forces. The rotation of corps brigades has begun – where the situation allows," Syrskyi said.

Topics of the meeting:

  •  issues of fortifications and engineering equipment,
  • restoring the combat capability of brigades,
  • analysis of the state of law and order and the moral and psychological state of the troops.

Proposed solutions problematic issues.

Tasks for military command

  • stabilisation of the situation in threatening areas through active defence,
  • ensuring replenishment for combat units,
  • transition of individual brigades of the Territorial Defence Forces to a structure with a reinforced unmanned component.
  • By the end of the year, we must complete the formation of the Cyber Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
