Consequences of strike on Odesa: man was injured, there is destruction. PHOTOS
A night-time strike in Odesa destroyed the facade of a high-rise building and market pavilions and infrastructure facilities were on fire. Twenty-three residents received psychological assistance from the State Emergency Service. Utility workers are cleaning up the aftermath of the attack, and a coordination headquarters is in operation.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the head of the CMA, Serhii Lysak.
"As a result of the night attack, damage to civilian and critical infrastructure was recorded. One man was injured - he was given medical assistance and will undergo further treatment on an outpatient basis," the report said.
Destruction and damage
The infrastructure facility where the fire broke out was destroyed. A 9-storey residential building was also damaged: the facade wall and roof were destroyed, and a fire broke out on the top floor. Psychologists from the State Emergency Service provided assistance to 23 residents at the scene.
The commercial infrastructure suffered significant damage: the fire engulfed pavilions at one of the city's markets and damaged a supermarket building.
Elimination of the consequences of the attack
Utility services have already eliminated the consequences of the attack, cleared the area and covered the windows with plastic sheeting. An operational headquarters has been set up where residents of the affected buildings can receive all the necessary assistance.
