In the Kharkiv region, due to deteriorating weather conditions, there were numerous cases of flooding in the residential sector.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, according to Censor.NET.

Which areas are flooded

It is reported that due to deteriorating weather conditions in the Kharkiv region, there have been numerous cases of flooding in residential areas in the following districts:

Berestinsky,
Bohodukhiv,
Izium,
Kupiansk,
Lozivsky,
Kharkiv.

Involvement of State Emergency Service units

As noted, units of the State Emergency Service were involved in the elimination of emergencies related to flooding in the Kharkiv region over the past day.

Rescuers from the State Emergency Service and local fire brigades were called in 17 times to help the affected population.

Using motor pumps and special equipment, they pumped meltwater out of residential buildings and private yards.

Work to eliminate the consequences of flooding continues today, particularly in the Izium district.
