Today, the enemy launched yet another attack on the Lutsk community.

This was reported on Facebook by former mayor Ihor Polishchuk, according to Censor.NET.

A "Nova Poshta" warehouse was hit

"The ‘Nova Poshta’ warehouse and a food warehouse belonging to one of the retail chains were identified as strategic targets for the attack. A balcony on one of the high-rise buildings was also damaged, where a fire broke out. Thank God, there are no reports of casualties at this time," he writes.

What is "Nova Poshta" saying?

As the company noted, a Nova Poshta terminal in Lutsk was destroyed as a result of a "shahed drone" strike.

"This morning, the enemy attacked the city with drones: the Nova Poshta terminal was destroyed. All staff were in shelters at the time of the strike and were unharmed. An assessment of the damage is ongoing. Detailed information regarding damaged cargo will be established once the aftermath of the strike has been cleared. Police and the State Emergency Service are currently working at the scene.

The company will compensate customers for lost parcels," the statement reads.

What happened beforehand?

  • It was previously reported that the enemy had attacked Lutsk with "shahed drones": an industrial facility was hit and a high-rise building was damaged.
  • It was also reported that Russia attacked Ukraine with strike drones on the evening of 31 March.
  • By the morning, it became known that the enemy had attacked Khmelnytskyi: a fire broke out at an enterprise.
