Lieutenant General Igor Korobov has been appointed head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (GRU).
Censor.NET reports citing the statement by the Defense Ministry of the Russian Federation posted on Twitter on Tuesday, Feb. 2.
"Sergei Shoigu presented the personal standard of the Main Intelligence Directorate Chief to Lieutenant General Igor Korobov," the statement reads.
