On the night of Tuesday 20 May 2026, Russian forces launched a massive attack on Odesa using strike drones.

This was reported on the Telegram channel by the head of the Odesa Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, according to Censor.NET.

According to him, several residential buildings and cars were damaged as a result of the massive enemy attack. A single-storey building was completely destroyed.

"Rescue workers and all municipal services are already on the ground, and an operational headquarters is being set up," he added.

According to the Regional Military Administration, the enemy has again launched a massive attack on the Odesa region using strike drones. Civilian and critical infrastructure facilities have been damaged.

According to the State Emergency Service, the attack in Odesa caused damage to residential areas, warehouses, and a critical infrastructure facility in the city. Rescue workers were operating simultaneously at several locations, dealing with the aftermath of the strikes.

In one of the city’s districts, a single-storey residential building was destroyed, followed by a fire. A drone strike was recorded at the level of the 18th floor of an unfinished 24-storey building. A large-scale fire also broke out in a warehouse building.
