In the village of Runivshchyna in the Kharkiv region, a 28-year-old driver of a VAZ-21099 car struck a law enforcement officer. He was wanted by the regional recruitment and social support centre.

Details of the incident
It is noted that police officers stopped the car to check the driver’s documents and discovered that the man was wanted.
"During the ensuing interaction, the man, attempting to evade being escorted to the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centre, drove off and struck a police officer," the police stated.
Arrest of the driver
The law enforcement officer sustained bruises. Police officers detained the man and informed him that he was suspected of an offence under Part 2 of Article 345 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (threats or violence against a law enforcement officer). He faces restriction of liberty or imprisonment for a term of up to five years.
