Day in Kharkiv region: 2 people killed, further 7 injured. PHOTOS
Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have attacked Kharkiv and 16 settlements in the region. There have been fatalities and injuries, and residential buildings and infrastructure have been damaged.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Synehubov.
A 62-year-old man was killed in Bohodukhiv, and two men were wounded. In the village of Novoselivka, in the Velykyi Burluk district, a 68-year-old man was killed, and local residents were also injured. Injuries have also been reported in other communities across the region.
Separately, medics treated a woman who had been injured on 24 June as a result of a previous shelling incident.
The Nemyshlyanskyi district of Kharkiv was also targeted.
Massive use of drones and aerial bombs
According to local authorities, the enemy actively employed various types of weaponry:
- 8 guided aerial bombs (GABs)
- 6 ‘Molniya’-type UAVs
- 4 FPV drones
- 24 UAVs of an unidentified type
Destruction of civilian infrastructure
Dozens of facilities in various districts of the region were damaged as a result of the shelling, including:
- in the Bohodukhiv district, a farm building, power lines ( Zolochiv village), railway infrastructure, a farm, 4 cars (Hubarivka village) and a house (Bohodukhiv town) were damaged;
- In the Kupiansk district, 2 private houses, an administrative building and power lines (in the village of Prykolotne), 4 private houses (in the village of Malyi Burluk), 6 private houses (in the village of Novoselivka) and a private house (in the village of Zhukiv Yar) were damaged;
- in the Izium district, a private house was damaged (in the village of Borova);
- in the Kharkiv district, an apartment block (the village of Slatine) and a private house (the village of Ruska Lozova) were damaged;
- in the Chuhuiv district, a private house was damaged (in the village of Novooleksandrivka).
