Fighters from ’Azov’ and other National Guard brigades have received their first payments for destroyed Russian equipment, - Palamar

Fighters from the‘Azov’ Corps and other National Guard brigades have received payment for enemy equipment they destroyed.

This was reported on Facebook by Sviatoslav (Kalyna) Palamar, deputy commander of the 1st Azov Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine, according to Censor.NET.

"Very recently, I appealed to the government to rectify an unjust situation whereby, unlike the Armed Forces of Ukraine, servicemen of the Ukrainian National Guard were effectively denied the opportunity to receive the remuneration provided for by law for enemy equipment destroyed or captured. I can report that the situation has changed. The necessary decisions have been taken by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko and Minister Ihor Klymenko," he noted.

According to him, the payment procedure has been streamlined, and the first payments have been made.

"This is an important decision not just about payments. It is about justice, respect for military personnel and equal treatment for all defenders of Ukraine, regardless of their departmental affiliation. Special thanks to all our comrades-in-arms who did not remain silent and, by destroying hundreds of pieces of enemy equipment, helped to substantiate and achieve justice," Palamar concluded.
