Ukrainian FP-5 Flamingo missiles struck the Russian Titan-Barrikady plant in Volgograd on June 27. Iskanders are produced there. Journalists have published satellite evidence of destruction at the strategic enterprise of Russia's military-industrial complex.

Consequences of the strike

Fresh satellite images from Vantor dated July 1, which are in the journalists' possession, show at least two heavily damaged buildings of the Russian plant.

  • Titan-Barrikady specialises in the production of launchers, artillery systems, and components for strategic and tactical missile systems, including Iskander-M, Yars, and Topol-M.

Results of the strike

  • On the night of June 27, Ukrainian FP-5 Flamingo missiles hit the plant. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the use of these missiles during the strike.
  • "This is a large industrial complex where the enemy manufactures artillery systems and special military equipment, including elements of missile launchers for strikes against our people. A hit was recorded, followed by a fire on the plant's territory. I thank the warriors of our Defence Forces for their precision."
  • Later, a video showing two FP-5 Flamingo missiles hitting the defence enterprise was published on social media.
